Shades EQ Technology

• The triple acid complex in the formula is enriched with citric acid and taurine that work together to strengthen and protect the fiber, while erythrotic acid acts as an antioxidant. Shades EQ returns the hair to its acidic state. The pH of the hair is naturally between 4.5 and 5.5, which helps prevent dryness and damage. Shades EQ will bring hair back to its natural state and is the ideal demi-permanent color for intense shine and conditioning.

How to Use

1. Mix your chosen Shades EQ shade in a 1:1 ratio with the Shades EQ Processing Solution or the Shades EQ Gloss to Gel Processing Solution. Shades EQ can be diluted with Crystal Clear to decrease the intensity or lighten the tone of any EQ Shades formula, perfect for toning, balayage and blondes.
2. Apply the mixture to dry hair using an applicator bottle or bowl and brush, depending on your preference. For precise application, use a bowl and brush. For faster application, use an applicator bottle.
3. Leave on for 20 minutes. After acting, wash hair thoroughly with Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo and conditioner.

Dilute with Crystal Clear:

• For maximum dilution, mix 15 ml of EQ Shades with 45 ml of Crystal Clear.
• For moderate dilution, mix 30 ml of Shades EQ with 30 ml of Crystal Clear.
• For minimal dilution, mix 45 ml of Shades EQ with 15 ml of Crystal Clear.
• For maximum power, use 60ml of undiluted EQ Shades.
