Instructions for Use

Do not use Structure + Shine products on their own, but only as part of a straightening service.

Use gloves before performing the straightening service.

The Goldwell Structure + Shine straightening service is not recommended for Afro hair.

1. Apply Dualsenses Deep Cleansing Shampoo.

Do not massage the scalp to avoid sensitizing it.

Rinse and towel dry your hair.

2. Spray on Structure + Shine Optimizer to make hair more manageable and even out its structure. Do not rinse.

3. Gently comb to detangle the hair.

4. For sensitive, stressed, and porous hair only, apply Structure + Shine Protection with a brush, concentrating on the most damaged areas. Apply Structure + Shine Protection neat, not diluted in water or mixed with other products.

5. Using non-metallic clips, divide the hair into 6 sections: right-left nape, right-left parietal area (top of the head), right-left frontal area.

6. Using a brush, apply Structure + Shine Agent 1. Apply neat, without diluting or mixing. Recommended dosage:

- Short hair - 80g

- Medium length - 100g

- Long hair - 120g

Distribute starting from the nape of the neck, apply in thin strands (approx. 0.5 cm) and leave 1 cm untreated at the root.

Cover with aluminum foil and leave for 8-12 minutes.

7. To check that the hair is sufficiently relaxed and that the treatment has been successful, perform a knot test on 2-3 very thin strands in different areas of the head:

- Knot test - option A: Form a knot, then tighten by pulling to create a small loop (1 cm in diameter) and loosen the tension. If the knot remains closed, the hair is relaxed and the straightening service can proceed. If the knot expands or opens, extend the holding time and repeat the test shortly afterward.

- Knot test - option B: Wrap a strand of hair around the end of a tail comb and hold for 5 seconds, then release. If the spiral remains, the hair is relaxed and the straightening service can proceed. If the spiral opens, extend the application time and repeat the test shortly afterward.

8. When the hair is well relaxed, rinse thoroughly for 3-5 minutes and dry with a towel.

9. Apply Structure + Shine Optimizer to detangle hair and protect it from heat, comb gently to distribute the product as much as possible, and then blow-dry hair by smoothing it with a flat brush.

10. Divide the hair into 6 sections to straighten it with the flat iron. Set the flat iron to a maximum recommended temperature of 180°C / 390°F.

Reapply Structure + Shine Optimizer before straightening to ensure the flat iron glides smoothly and the hair is well protected from the heat. Begin straightening with the flat iron, starting with the nape sections. Always straighten hair in thin sections (0.5 cm), from root to tip, holding the section at a 90° angle to the scalp. Make 3-4 passes per section, paying particular attention to regrowth and straightening it more intensely. For a more natural result at the crown, work the sections in a zigzag motion.

11. Divide the hair into 6 sections and apply Structure + Shine Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream with a brush. Apply neat, without diluting or mixing. Always starting at the nape of the neck, apply Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream, section by section, from root to tip, to stabilize the style. Leave on for 5 to 8 minutes without heat.

12. Rinse thoroughly for 3-5 minutes and dry with a hairdryer.

13. Tips for maintaining the straightening effect at its best

For 3 days after the service: do not use hairpins, do not tie up your hair, and do not wash your hair.

In the 7 days following the service: do not use chemical treatments.

Hair straightening service + highlights

When color needs to be revived, the same procedure can be followed, replacing only step 11 ("Structure + Shine Agent 2") with a classic Colorance color service. Leave on for 15 minutes without heat, then rinse thoroughly (3-5 minutes).

Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Strictly follow the instructions and safety advice, and use the product with caution. Improper use may cause injury. Use only as intended.

1. Aplicar el champú Dualsenses Deep Cleansing Shampoo.

2. Pulverizar el Structure + Shine Optimizer para que el cabello sea más manejable y para igualar la estructura. No aclarar.

3. Peina suavemente para desenredar el cabello.

4. Sólo para cabellos sensibles, estresados y porosos, aplicar Structure + Shine Protection con un cepillo, concentrándose en las zonas más dañadas del cabello. Aplicar Structure + Shine Protection puro, no diluido en agua ni mezclado con otros productos.

5. Con pinzas no metálicas, dividir el cabello en 6 secciones: nuca derecha-izquierda, zona parietal (parte superior de la cabeza) derecha-izquierda, zona frontal derecha-izquierda.

6. Con un pincel, aplicar Structure + Shine Agent 1. Aplicar puro, sin diluir ni mezclar. Dosis recomendada:

- Pelo corto - 80gr

- Longitud media - 100gr

- Pelo largo - 120gr

Distribuir empezando por la nuca, aplicar en mechones finos (aprox. 0,5 cm) y dejar 1 cm sin tratar en la raíz.

Cubrir con papel de aluminio y dejar actuar durante 8-12 minutos.

7. Para comprobar que el cabello está suficientemente relajado y que el tratamiento ha tenido éxito, hacer un test del nudo en 2-3 mechones muy finos en distintas zonas de la cabeza:

- Prueba del nudo - opción A: Formar un nudo, luego apretar tirando para crear un pequeño bucle (1 cm de diámetro) y aflojar la tensión. Si el nudo permanece cerrado, el cabello está relajado y se puede proceder con el servicio de alisado. Si el nudo se dilata o se abre, prolongar el tiempo de fijación y repetir la prueba poco después.

- Prueba del nudo - opción B: enrollar un mechón de pelo sobre la punta de un peine de cola y mantenerlo durante 5 segundos, luego soltarlo. Si la espiral permanece, el cabello está relajado y se puede proceder con el servicio de alisado. Si la espiral se abre, prolongar el tiempo de aplicación y repetir la prueba poco después.

8. Cuando el cabello esté bien relajado, aclarar abundantemente durante 3-5 minutos y secar con una toalla.

9. Aplica Structure + Shine Optimizer para desenredar el cabello y protegerlo del calor, péinar suavemente para distribuir el producto lo mejor posible y, a continuación, secar el cabello alisándolo con un cepillo plano.

10. Dividir el cabello en 6 secciones para alisarlo con la plancha. Ajustar la plancha a una temperatura máxima recomendada de 180°C / 390°F.

Aplicar de nuevo el Structure + Shine Optimizer antes del alisado para que la plancha se deslice fácilmente y el cabello esté bien protegido del calor. Comenzar a alisar con la plancha empezando por las secciones de la nuca. Planchar siempre el pelo en mechones finos (0,5 cm), de la raíz a las puntas y manteniendo el mechón en un ángulo de 90° con respecto al cuero cabelludo. Hacer 3-4 pasadas por mechón y prestar especial atención al rebrote planchándolo más intensamente. Para un resultado más natural en la coronilla, trabajar los mechones en zigzag.

11. Dividir el cabello en 6 secciones y aplicar Structure + Shine Agent 2 Neutralising Cream con un pincel. Aplicar puro, sin diluir ni mezclar. Empezando siempre por la nuca, aplicar Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream, sección por sección, de la raíz a las puntas, para estabilizar el peinado. Dejar actuar de 5 a 8 minutos sin fuente de calor.

12. Aclarar abundantemente durante 3-5 minutos y secar con secador.

13. Consejos para mantener el alisado al máximo

En los 3 días siguientes al servicio: no utilizar horquillas, no recogerse el pelo y no lavarse el pelo.

En los 7 días siguientes al servicio: no usar tratamientos químicos.

Servicio de alisado + reflejos

Cuando se necesita reavivar el color, se puede seguir el mismo procedimiento, sustituyendo sólo el paso 11 ("Structure + Shine Agent 2") por un servicio de color clásico de Colorance. Dejar actuar durante 15 minutos sin fuente de calor y, a continuación, aclarar abundantemente (3-5 minutos).
